Community Islamic Finance Workshops

Bring Islamic finance education to your mosque, community center, or school. Zakat, halal investing, inheritance, and more. Customized for your community.

Bring Islamic Finance Education to Your Community

Muslim communities need financial education. Many Muslims do not understand zakat. They do not know how to avoid riba. They do not know their inheritance rights. They do not know how to invest halal. This lack of knowledge leads to sin and financial hardship. Your community can change that.

Our Community Islamic Finance Workshops bring professional education to your mosque, community center, or school. We offer workshops on a variety of topics. Zakat calculation, halal investing, Islamic home finance, inheritance and wills, halal car finance, Islamic insurance, and more.

Each workshop is two to three hours. It includes a presentation, Q&A, and practical exercises. Participants receive handouts and resource lists. The workshops are designed for the general public. No prior knowledge required. The language is easy to understand. The examples are practical.

We can deliver a single workshop on one topic. Or a series of workshops over several weeks. We can customize the content for your community. For example a workshop for new Muslims covers different topics than a workshop for established families.

Workshops can be in person at your location or virtual via video call. We provide all materials. We also provide advertising templates to help you promote the workshop.

Educate your community. Fulfill your duty of spreading knowledge. Contact us to schedule a workshop.

Yes. We have workshops for children ages 8 to 12 and youth ages 13 to 17. The youth workshop covers the same topics as adult workshops but at a simpler level. More games, more activities, less jargon. The children workshop covers basic concepts. What is money? Why do we give charity? What is interest and why is it bad? How to save? The youth workshop includes zakat calculation, halal investing basics, and Islamic insurance. Both workshops are two hours. We have delivered them in mosques and Islamic schools across Hong Kong.

We recommend finding an instructor who speaks your language directly.

Yes. You can record the workshop for your community members who could not attend live. There is an additional fee for recording rights. The fee is HKD 1,000 to HKD 2,000 depending on the workshop.
