If you have a topic request we can add it to our calendar.

When you register for a webinar you get the live session, the recording for 30 days, downloadable slides, a resource pack with additional readings and tools, and a certificate of attendance that you can use for continuing professional development or CPD records.

You can register for individual webinars that interest you. Or you can purchase an annual pass that gives you access to all webinars for 12 months at a discounted price. New subscribers save 30 percent with the annual pass.

What's Included

Live Webinar Session

Each webinar is 60 to 90 minutes of live instruction. The instructor presents the material using slides and screen sharing. They explain concepts clearly. They use real world examples. They show calculations step by step. The session is interactive. You can ask questions through chat. The instructor answers as many questions as time allows. You can also raise your hand to ask a question verbally. The live format gives you the opportunity to get personalized answers to your specific situation.

Live Q&A

The last 15 to 20 minutes of each webinar are dedicated to Q&A. You can ask any question related to the topic. The instructor answers live. If you have a complex question that needs more time, you can schedule a private follow up consultation at a discounted rate for webinar attendees. The Q&A is often the most valuable part of the webinar because you get answers to your specific questions, not just general information.

Downloadable Slides

After the webinar you receive a PDF copy of the presentation slides. You can download them to your computer or tablet. You can print them if you like to take handwritten notes. The slides include all the key points, diagrams, and calculation examples. You can refer back to them whenever you need a refresher. The slides are yours to keep forever.

Resource Pack

Each webinar comes with a resource pack of additional materials. This might include calculation templates for zakat or child support. It might include checklists for choosing a halal investment fund. It might include sample contracts for Islamic home finance. It might include a reading list of books and articles for deeper learning. The resource pack is designed to help you apply what you learned after the webinar ends.

Recording Access

If you cannot attend the live session or if you want to watch it again, you get access to the recording for 30 days after the webinar. The recording includes the full presentation and the Q&A. You can watch it as many times as you want within the 30 day period. You can watch at faster speed or slower speed. You can pause and rewind. The recording is available on our learning platform and can be accessed from any device.

Attendance Certificate

After you watch the webinar either live or by recording, you receive a certificate of attendance. The certificate includes your name, the webinar title, the date, the duration in hours, and our official seal. You can use this certificate for continuing professional development or CPD requirements. Many professional bodies accept our webinars for CPD credit. Check with your specific organization to confirm.

How It Works

Browse Schedule

Visit our website to see the upcoming webinar calendar. We publish schedules three months in advance. Each listing includes the topic, the instructor biography, the date and time in Hong Kong time, and a detailed outline of what will be covered.

Register

Click the register button for the webinar you want. You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and instructions.

Attend Live

On the scheduled date and time, click the Zoom link to join. You can join from your computer, tablet, or phone. You do not need a Zoom account. You can just join as a guest. Mute your microphone when you are not speaking to avoid background noise. Use the chat feature to ask questions.

Watch Recording

If you cannot attend live, do not worry. Within 24 hours after the live session we send you the recording link. You have 30 days to watch it. You can watch it as many times as you want.

Download Materials

After the webinar ends, you can download the slides and resource pack from our learning platform. You also receive your attendance certificate. You can download everything immediately. You do not need to wait.

Follow Up

If you have more questions after the webinar, you can email the instructor directly. The instructors answer follow up questions for seven days after the webinar. For complex questions that require more time, you can schedule a private consultation at a 20 percent discount as a webinar attendee.

We cover a wide range of practical Islamic finance topics. Halal investing is one of our most popular topics. We explain how to screen stocks, what purification means, and how to build a halal portfolio. Zakat calculation is another popular topic. We explain the nisab, how to value different asset types, and how to handle complex situations like business zakat or cryptocurrency. Islamic home finance is also popular. We explain Diminishing Musharakah compared to conventional mortgages. Estate planning and Islamic wills are commonly requested. We cover Faraid inheritance law and how to draft a Shariah compliant will. What if I cannot attend the live session?

That is completely fine. Most of our webinar registrants actually watch the recording rather than the live session. Life is busy. We understand. When you register for a webinar you automatically get access to the recording for 30 days. You can watch it at any time that suits you. You can watch it on a weekend. You can watch it late at night after the kids are asleep. You can watch it during your lunch break. The recording includes everything from the live session including the Q&A. You still receive the slides, the resource pack, and the attendance certificate. The only thing you miss is the ability to ask a live question. But you can still email your question to the instructor and they will answer within 48 hours.

Do you offer group discounts for companies?

Yes we offer group discounts for companies sending multiple employees to the same webinar. For groups of five to nine employees we offer a 15 percent discount. For groups of ten or more employees we offer a 25 percent discount. We also offer private webinars for companies. You choose the topic. We customize the content to your industry. We deliver the webinar to your employees only on a date and time that works for you. Private webinars start at HKD 5,000 for up to 50 attendees. Contact us for a custom quote for your organization.

Are the webinars recorded and available later?

Yes all webinars are recorded. The recording is available for 30 days after the live session. After 30 days the recording expires. We do this to encourage timely viewing and to protect our intellectual property. If you need access for longer than 30 days you can purchase an extended access pass for an additional HKD 100. This gives you 90 days of access instead of 30. If you have an annual pass you get access to all recordings for the entire 12 months of your pass regardless of when you registered.

Do you offer continuing professional education credits?

Yes our webinars qualify for continuing professional education credits with several professional bodies. Accountants with HKICPA can claim CPD hours for attending our webinars. Financial planners with IFPHK can claim CE credits. Lawyers with the Law Society of Hong Kong can claim CPD points. We provide a certificate of attendance that includes the number of hours. Your professional body may require you to submit this certificate as proof. We recommend checking with your specific organization before registering to confirm that they will accept our webinars. If they have specific requirements for CPD approval, please let us know and we will try to accommodate them.

What is the refund policy for webinars?

If you register for a webinar and then cannot attend live and do not watch the recording, you can request a refund within seven days of the live session. We will refund your full registration fee. If you have already watched the recording we do not offer refunds because you have already consumed the content. If the webinar is cancelled by us for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another webinar. We rarely cancel webinars. In the event of instructor illness we will reschedule the webinar and notify you of the new date. If the new date does not work for you we offer a full refund.
